If you rescan it should go. The service had already closed it was just displaying a caption saying the service had closed.

Hi Inone there are two stages for ever DSO so if you just had stages 1 you should get all your missing channel back at stages two

Stage 2 should be on 21/9/11 a lot of people have lost channels at the moment you could try a rescan you might be lucky

This is big news

channel 44 pick TV +1 has close on freeview and now has a caption saying

by the way this is good news for freeview viewer in Wales as they get to see TNA Wrestling for the 1st time on free TV

The 720p high definition copies of Friends are now airing on Comedy Central HD on Virgin channel 133. They are currently doing a top 50 countdown. Regular programming resumes tomorrow, with a double bill of Friends each weekday at 5pm and 8pm.

this is big news i just check my freeview EPG and itv2+1 on channel 27 will cut it hours from Saturday night from 24/7 to 6am-6pm that mean a new 24/7 freeview channel coming soon to freeview as there is already a 12 hours night slot not in uses on Mux A

things that need to happen before xmas

channel 44 removed as it has close
channel 47 removed as it has close
channel 795 removed tell viewer to rescan to get challenge on channel 46

freeview changes 19/10/11

freeview channel 32 Big Deal was midnight-4am now 3am-5am
freeview channel 97 ADULT PARTY was 3am-7am now midnight-7am
freeview chaanel 193 ADULT Babestn2 was 4am-5am now 4am-8am using (the ex-Daystar capacity)
channel 44 picktv+1 removed from the freeview EPG as it has close

There is some new licenses been added to the ofcom DTT list

these are:

Men&Movies
Movies4Men+1
Movies4Men2
Movies4Men2+1

This is in addition to the Movies4Men license they already had so they could broadcast from Manchester only.

I am having a hard time believing they will actually launch all these channels as the company that owns then is small, IMO the licenses where got so no over DTT channel can take the name of there sat channels. There is plenty of un used licenses already on the DTT list.

Remember where you heard this from first!!!

i have sent a email to mike the person on the ofcom licences for the movie channel and have got a reply saying he is on holiday till 27/10/11 will post a reply if i get one i ask if the channel are coming to frevview and when there would start and what hours and what channel numbers
