He don't need to rescan. The channel is already in his list as he can view it when its on air. If it had extended its hours in wales as there was no changes to any of the channel info that is hidden on a mux the channel would have continued past 7pm if it had been extended.

However the caption is still there and the channel went off air, its just not there its not extended at all in wales.

will at least i can post on DS you cant i have a new account i had it for about 10 week i have a new user name you never catch me you should tell him to rescan as it is on a new mux

It not, its still on Mux A as it always has been including the past time version in wales, the channel has just not extended its broadcast hours in wales at all freeview33

All the bbc channels including 301 have been widescreen for years. I remember watching the red nose day chris moyles coverage on 301 a while ago and that was in widescreen.

If you rescan it should go. The service had already closed it was just displaying a caption saying the service had closed.

On september 20th Pick TV+1 will close.

Freeview have confirmed this on there website. Also same day challenge will move from MUX A to Mux C and require a retune to be maintained on the users freeview box.

We now know where the MUX A slot that bid media listed for sale has come from, this is because there will be a empty slot on mux A due to challenge moving to MUX C and replacing pick tv+1.

This information was first posted on the digital spy forum by Ray Cathode.

some time i get a week signal on Mux A so this is good news that challenge is moving to Mux C so i can watch TNA the signal not been to bad lately i will have a party on 20/9/11 and it rescan time day
