Hi Alex's Mum, Don't take this the wrong way, and welcome to the forum btw

but how can we know for sure you are Alex's Mum? Not saying I disbelieve you, but it's just that any one could join and say they are so and so's relations of some sort. You are very brave joining here if you are Alex's mum, as housemates can get a rough ride on forums as well as in the BB house at times, and relatives of their's would need quite a thick skin to participate in discussions.

BB9's winner Rachel's mum posts on DS, and she is so nice and takes such a lot of flak by some on there though.

Of course, I agree completely with what you say....I probably would have my doubts too if the shoe was on the other foot...I don't know how I can prove I am Alex's mum, but I am...Since Alex went into the house I have not looked at such sites on the internet, as there are so many lies and bad things said about all housemates...it's not nice but you get used to it...you have too..but at the same time there are wonderful comments, beautiful words that lift your spirits...so it's a 50/50 thing I guess....

I won't participate in many discussions, only those that I feel are injustifiable where I can't resist airing my opinion...

..more than 50/50..she's one of the favourites....you should see some of the things said about some other housemates....

I daresay you can give us some wonderful insights into her character

Especially as this BB is so heavilly edited. In many ways that is the bonus of having someone close to a housemate on a forum. There is an ignore button in profiles, if you ever feel the need to block anyones posts but beware sometimes posts do get quoted and can be seen from time to time if you do decide to do that.

Alex is the nailed on winner, shes not caused offence to anyone, been herself and been hilarious with it. Beenn genuine, and everybody likes her, all these things make her odds on!

I actually think she is one of the best HMs in there.

And I say that as a big Aaron fan who hopes he can buck the trend of "maverick" HMs always falling short and win the show.

I do think we have a good cross-section of HMs this year - each with a different personality and most adding something unique to the show. Even Anton who noone likes but is adding something you need on the show.

The only exception is Louise who I just find deathly boring and seems to have spent her life relying on her looks.

There is noone else doing what Alex is doing on there and she is doing it naturally and apparently without much effort. That is quite an achievement I would say.

However, I'm afraid if it comes down to a finals day between her and Aaron, Aaron will get my vote.

Oh and don't criticise Harry because of that comment he made today. He was taking the p*ss with most of them. Him and Aaron were just saying today how much they like Alex. They get on really well with her.

And like others I think you're very brave posting on here. I hope we don't upset you too much - lol.

Thanks for that. I like Harry and Aaron as I have mentioned before, and the three of them always seem to get on well...I just thought Alex looked hurt at that comment and he didn't have to say that. I realise he was saying comments about them all in jest, but nonetheless, it was cutting to watch, me being her mother...

Alex will get my vote everytime of course, that goes without saying.
I am not upset at all and if that happens, then I just won't read anymore.

I agree Alex has not done much apart from allow herself to be subjected to that Spray Tanning, also on some of her vids she does not act as gormless as he makes out in the house. Still prefer her to most in the house and she is a cert with the bookies.

I hope Aaron does have to go up against Alex though, we may be able to get rid of the old Grandma.
I Cant stand the guy. This is about the time of show that more guys start tuning in so the demographic of people following the show may change.
To date dominated by too many middle aged women who fancy either Aaron or Jay. (The Potential Serial Killer Vs The Potential Wife Batterer).

Aaron is like an old grandmother, gets asked a question and goes in a head wobbling granny diatribe that has nothing to do with the question. Sends me to sleep after the first few seconds, never uses 6 words where a hundred will do.

Jay has the reading age of a 5 year old, and is too gormless to remember what he said a few days before.
