She released an album in 08 and another in 11, she's making the point that real artists put effort into their albums, which is why they don't release a new one every 12 months

B'Day is her best album and she recorded that in 6-8 months iirc. All she does is co-writes a few songs so 12 months is perfectly reasonable. It works perfectly well with Rihanna, her albums always sound fresh and succeed commercially and to an extent critically

4 could still have been amazing if it was made in a year, you can't prove it's because of a 3 year gap. All Beyonce does is cowrites.
