I don't quite get the ignore function though.....do you not see the people post at all then or does it just block their actual posts? What if someone quotes them do you see the quote?

Yes, you can still see the quote. But the point is to avoid any arguments with that person.

You see the quote. It's quite inefficient a system really. The post itself appears as "You cannot see this post because you have _____ on ignore" or something though.

I don't think it would be right to put anyone on ignore since I'm a mod, really feel like doing it lately though, sick of having to scroll past constant sexual innuendos and cringe worthy posts tbh.

Even then Vanessa I just find some of the posts lately are awful to read through and have no place on a BB forum thats full of younger members, thats just my opinion, I mean in no way am I a prude and I'm always up for a laugh but some of the posts on here lately have been embarrassing tbh.

I think most teenagers already know about sex anyway. I did since i was 13. Courtesy of the mags my schoolmates used to bring at school.

..I agree with Josy..TiBB is a mixed forum of lots of different age groups and some people might be embarrassed by some of the things that have been posted..and deem them inappropriate..but it wouldn't work to have threads that everyone isn't comfortable with so I think some of the things would be better in a social group so they're not there for the rest of the forum if they want them...

Ignore systems can't really ever implemented successfully, even if you don't want to see someones post it could be quite important to a thread and you'd be left wondering what the hell everyones talking about
