But in all honesty though I think if we've all been duped by someone for a number of years (twice actually) and now this seems to be taking quite a serious sinister and worrying turn, I think we all have a right to some sort of an explanation and closure, whether that's in ten minutes or in a few days. It's only going to make people continually speculate otherwise. May as well just clear it up, being open about stuff like this is the best way, people will just move on then.

I haven't read all of this thread, but it seems like people are in shock, and Mollie was such a nice fm that people have been taken aback. The fawning in the SH thread was off the scale. No one is in here telling Locke he needs to get over himself.

I was going to comment on those Shaun but you see this has thrown up quite a moral dilemma in my head here. If you've been stood up in a place as far away as London/duped by somebody, then you're obviously going to be angry and will want to find some answers...but then I don't know, messaging a school or contacting real life friends seems a bit too far to me. But there's some middle ground there I think which is quite difficult, the balance between being rightly pissed off and prying too far into people's personal lives.

It's not a victory thread though really. Locke's basically "retired" from the forum,Raph Is feeling down and out so there is no victory in it. It really didn't involve as "invasion of privacy" as you would assume, but rather a whole lot of Common sense and one of them online birth certificate thingys. If I was in Locke's spot I would be pretty suspicious and want answers too tbh.

When I heard the lengths some of the group went to in order to uncover the truth about Mollie I was seething with rage, If it was up to me the person who went to those lengths would be banned right now.

It was a disgraceful violation of Mollie's right to privacy and it sickened me completely, what right do any of you have to do what you did? Did you even think of the consequences of your actions? Shame on you, I hope that no one is ever that cruel to you.

Seriously, I've survived Setanta, Wombai, Stacey and a whole lot of other rage worthy stuff on this site but this is up there with the worst.
