hmm the onion has far more layers that these cartoon characters and far more practical uses too....onions illicit tears for others but alas theyre incapable of their own....on that irony alone it deserves to win on the sympathy vote

Bloody pointless DRUNKEN argument! We all know Charlie is immature and uncalibrated for her age at the best of times. Add in alcohol and she is an out and out MESS. She was like a bull in a china shop as per usual. I believe she WAS aiming for Hazels mouth but was just so drunkily uncoordinated and inattentive that it landed nearer the eye.

She actually made some progress in her verbal blunderage by recognising referencing Daley was wrong mid-sentence. So that's something

Hazel for her part was pushing things a little far as per usual. Her reaction to the Daley half-comment was understandable but also gave Charlie a MUCH bigger spade to dig her own grave with. The use of the word 'aggressive' rather than say 'boisterous' was uncalled for. It really makes me wonder where her head was at with regards to gaining sympathy etc.

Cucumber to win!!!

I've seen this mentioned a few times. Show of hands - how often do people use the word "boisterous" in casual conversation?

Will the cucumber argument continue on tonight's show I wonder?
Just to get my point across because I don't think I have already, I was on Charlie's side (as such), the whole thing was just ridiculous and it shouldn't have started anyway, but Charlie didn't mean it deliberately, Hazel moved which caused the cucumber to go in her eye. She made a big deal over it, when really it could've just been laughed about and forgotten about but instead BB had to double check she was alright....
And then when she had the cheek to say she didn't use the word aggressive, I almost wished she could hear me through my tv screen. I thought Charlie was right in going back to Hazel and co just to clarify what she meant about the 'Daley situation' - I assumed what she meant by that was the behaviour there was seen as aggressive even though it wasn't intentional, or so we think, so that's what she meant by the cucumber situation, it was also seen as aggressive, but clearly wasn't therefore, it is a similar situation to what happened in the SH but of course totally different. So that's why I could see where she was coming from. It's funny how everyone sees it differently though, and then makes their own assumptions.

How about 'overly playful'?

It doesn't have to be a particular word but the word 'aggressive' carries some very negative connotations in my mind. To me it means forceful and indicating a willingness to use violence. It reeks of anger and violence to me.

And yet, your sig pic is a very aggressive image of Lauren. She could easily be described as aggressive in many situations, and there's nothing negative about it, it's simply an accurate description. Is Charlie some precious little snowflake that she must be sheltered from accuracy?

She was frustrated with all the hate directed to her and venting on a peice of string. NOT another human being as aggressive would indicate!

Do you have a dictionary with this specialized meaning of "aggressive" that suggests aggression can only be directed at people?

Sorry I can see how you're confused.
It's similar because both situations were seen as aggressive but weren't meant in that way,
But they're completely different situations because Daleys tone was to me, actually aggressive whereas you could tell the cucumber thing was meant to be a joke?
That probably still doesn't make sense!

In what part of the playing with the cucumber did Charlie appear likely to attack Hazel?
