When she first arrived on the show I thought one of secrets was Gina was a man that had the chop.

However, Gina opens door for it with her attitude and the endless hours she spends every day making herself look as different from her natural appearance as possible.

This is a reality show. They're in there to be judged. So I get that some people will judge and potentially cross the line and be nasty, I don't necessarily support that, but I would never tell or suggest to someone else what they should or shouldn't have an opinion on or talk about. I don't personally know anyone here, it would be hypocritical of me to do so.

If someone has the video of the Diary room rant and can post it, I think you'll find that she does actually say things about some of the housemates that aren't related specifically to the clothes they wear, she does touch on their actual 'looks' if I remember correctly.
I haven't accused you of bashing her looks but your first post does look like you are trying to justify attacks by others, if you read it back.

Just scanned through last nights episode, watched Gina's diary room and also the scenes with Gina in them. Not once did she make disparaging remarks about someones looks.

Apologies. I should have been clearer on my first post. What I meant to imply was that I understand some people will no doubt have a go at her, and it's because of her own attitude and the importance she herself places on her looks. She makes it a talking point. And while I think it's fair play to question her motivation behind her makeup routine, and why it is exactly she chooses to go about her appearance the way she does, their is obviously a difference between discussing the facts and actions at hand and just generally slagging someone off and being nasty because they may or may not be physically attractive.

I think it was a few nights back when she was in the Diary room having a go at the other housemates looks & styles...

It's the elephant in the room that no one really wants to mention for fear of being branded racist... but, I'm afraid Gina's make-up / hair / contacts routine is very clearly and specifically designed to make her look "less black".

Why? Who knows. I don't think she deserves to be hated or insulted for it, it's actually quite sad that she feels the need to do it and is so insecure and uncomfortable with her natural appearance. Her guard is completely stripped away without the mask, and that is when she REALLY started to hate Hazel. When it was taken away from her.

It's so important to her that she's completely ruined her skin with it; people think she wears so much make-up to cover bad skin but it's very probably the reverse. Her skin is a mess because she has been clogging it heavily with make-up day in, day out for years. The same goes for her hair - it looks awful before she has a chance to spruce it up for the day... because it's fake and a mess.

She probably "naturally" looks absolutely fine, and wouldn't look so (frankly) shocking first thing in the morning if her beauty regime was concentrated on enhancing and making the most of her own features. But, it's concentrated on diluting and hiding them. So when that layer is stripped away it has a dramatic effect.

.
If Gina was rich she would have less of a skin problem, be more clued-up about makeup (expensive makeup use quality ingredients cheap makeup probably causing her skin problems) having wealth would fix her skin easily with todays tech; also wouldn't see such a sh1t weave on her head.
Heavy make-up hides her skin ailment, if she was totally ashamed she wouldn't of gone into BB.

Being less black? Its bloody simple as to why black people like to straight their hair and colour it blonde, put on contacts - it's a style. Just like some white dude may want pubes for hair, personal choice from the norm nothing to do with being less black. Only immature idiots gonna call the race card. There is no elephant in the room only this pink dancing ***** here

Or maybe she really is THAT insecure. Insulting someone for daring to point out the glaringly obvious isn't very productive or mature.

I think she looks quite vulnerable without her make-up.

It's sad when a girl has to cake her face in makeup before even brushing her teeth whilst in bed in the morning..she has ****ed up her skin with that daily routine as mentioned above.

I think she's ugly even with all her slap on (and god know's she wears enough of it!). She sort of looks like she's had her face flattened with a frying pan. And I hate it when she wears those sunglasses sliding down her nose. Hideous.

It is not that she isnīt attractive. The problem for me is what is inside her, which is nicely put... not very good.

Gina is not the most attractive person...naturally. Its a shame she has to cake on so much make-up. However she was funny tonight an she has become quite endearing...especially with her chilli pasta...
