I think taken in isolation the fat jibe might not have seemed so bad - but when we also see him calling her a 'maggot' it just makes him look like he has it in for her.
Add to that the fact that Jale has a nice down to earth personality and doesn't seem in the least back stabbing or malicious and Ash comes across as nasty and vindictive. I think he's the kind of person who could never believe anyone could possibly find fault with him. I really dislike him.

Just putting it out there but the way Matthew said Marlon looked fat (on tv) was very different to how Ash called Jale fat.

Matthew was wrong to say it but I don't believe he said it to hurt anyone but Ash made the comment about Jale to try and make people laugh at her expense.

Neither were right to say what they did but I think Ash comment came from a much darker place and had a lot more venom behind it.

They both meant it with venom, only difference is that Matthew wasn't brave enough to say it to Marlon's face and Marlon's friends and family can't do anything to warn Marlon of what Matthew said either.

How she treated him? - WTH - She had a perfectly normal reaction to finding out something she would rather not know or have to keep to herself. She told the 2 people she was closest too in a knee jerk reaction and didn't take it any further. He wasn't harmed by it in the least.
Chris is a big fave of mine and I wasn't bothered by her reaction at all.

Calling her a "maggot" because he didn't agree with her reason for nominating him in that clip earlier tonight was disgusting too and that was directly to her face!!!!

Yes, it was a knee jerk reaction imo and as she didn't blab the hostage thing to all and sundry but spoke to him about it in person I don't see what the big deal is. Compared to how the majority of the HM's are behaving it's not even a blip on my radar.

Whether Jale heard it or not Ash still said it for others to hear in an attempt to demean her which still makes him a huge twat!!!!
The "maggot" thing was much worse again and was said in a really nasty, hateful way and directly to her face. Ash is the fu**ing maggot in that house!!!
