Greg, I think moving out is the right thing to do, but don't cut her out picture completely. Give your mum time to come round. If she doesn't, then that's a shame, but always leave the door open. Parents are too important to cut ties with.

..awww Greg....I’m not sure people do change as such, not really and not in hugely significant ways..I think people can gain an understanding of each other more and that can help a lot in bridging things but it takes time because it’s important for us to look at our own actions in stuff and some people find that harder than others and that’s probably because they always feel that what they do is for the right reasons...and maybe that’s how it is with your mum, I don’t know but you’re doing what’s right for you now and distancing yourself because you feel it’s what you need and that’s all you can do for the moment....I hope in time that you do have that understanding of each other and maybe build on that....

...and Jess, you have got a lovely guy who cares about you and maybe try to focus on how great that is if you can......and I have spare rooms....
