Newsflash, good girls don't swear, shag and bitch and all achieved to a very high degree as a teenager. Maybe in some peoples world it is acceptable and applauded, but certainly not in mine.

I think I will stay with the idea that a nice girl chooses her BF wisely and keeps her legs shut till at least 18. She wont swear or disrespect her elders and is polite and courteous to her peers. "brat" like "madam" is just a Daily mail-like way of insulting young women who don't conform to some victorian ideal. The same mentality applauds guys who act like this because as we all know, nudge,nudge,wink, wink, "boys will be boys" and anyway, they're "just letting off steam".

I just get the impression from how differently the women are treated/talked about to how men are treated/talked about on the show that the over-riding belief is that "girls" should be seen and not heard.

Why was he taking advantage of his "friend" when she was feeling so stressed out about maybe having to do something sexual and degrading?
