No. He started the discussion with "atheists study religion far more than Christians. What does that tell you about Christians?" is immediately belittling them before a debate has even started.

No. I've gone to a few different churches over many years and apart from 3 occasions of buying a 10 pence candle I've never given money or been manipulated into doing so.

How much time have you spent in these churches?

Are you still operating under the assumption that churches "sell graces" in the street? Or that they charge a subscription to attend mass?

When christians stop charging a fee, i'll take them more seriously. Every Christian should refuse any kind of donation. I've never heard of an atheist charging money to tell people why they don't believe in god.

The only reason I have a dislike for Atheist is because the majority of them seem to act so self righteous. I understand though that Atheist feel like Christians at self righteous too so suppose it's a mutual hate.
