Well shes an indian actress from Bollywood, do you expect to see her in Hollywood? I shouldn't think so. They might be crap to you, but ardent Bollywood film followers might not think so

Hardly a very wise thing to say.
Its a Bollywood film, and therefore the Indian equivilant of an English film.
They are very clever films..

Does she star in those Indian movies where they break out into song and dance every five minutes?

That's mean, but I do find it quite stupid that they sing and dance every 5 minutes.

All I know is the few Indian films I have seen, the actors burst out into song and dance in the middle of a serious scene, which is actually quite funny.

But I don't want to disrespect Indian culture just because it's different, so please no one take offense.

One man's rubbish is another man's treasure.

In other words, you don't need to like it as it wasn't meant for you.

don't ask uhh well I guess i'll just have to rent out loads of her films and get my dose of her through doing that

Andybigbro, Bollwood films have become much much much better in the last 10 years.Glamour wise and the technical aspects too. They have used the specialist effects teams from America, the action team behind the Matrix has been used in a lots of Bollywood films. Theres Ashwariya Rai doing a film with Micheal Douglas and another with Colin Firth.
The Last Legion
http://youtube.com/watch?v=O8F7miC9gJw

Take a look at this, if you can
http://youtube.com/watch?v=gEJsE7XS9ew
Sushmita Sen is doing a film with Richard Gere, and also another film with Robert De Niro's daughter Drena De Niro and Naomi Cambpell called KARMA, CONFESSIONS and HOLI.

Sushmita after winning Miss Universe got offered a Bond film, but refused.

Also now theres alot of mixed race actors in Bollywood.
Dino Morea is quarter Italian & Portugese and half Indian.
Lisa Ray is half Canadian and half Bengali.
Katrina Kaif is Half British English and half Pakistani
Sonya Jehan is Half French and half Indian
John Abraham he's half South Indian and half Persian
Diya Mirza is Half German and Half Bengali

Hello Magazine had a poll last year to find the most beautiful women, guess who won, a Bollywood actress. She is also the face of L'oreal. She even has tulips named after her.

Alot of these Indian women are stunning but to match their Beauty they have brains too. The most winners from Miss Universe/World are the Indian ladies.

Andybig bro If you want, I can suggest a few for you to see, like ones that will be easy or you to understand, as like me, you are a non-asain

And on that note, Bollywood songs don't break out every 5 minutes. If you've got something to say, say it correctly, makes no sense for you to post alleged goings on in a Bollywood film. Its never really been understood where the singing and dancing tradition came up in Bollywood films, but its been a long association, kind of goes hand in hand.

So to sum it up, I'd say Bollywood and Shilpa will have a good fan base outside of the Asian community and Bollywood film watchers
