BB Spy is the only fansite that ever seems to recognize that viewers are complaining and dissatisfied.

Yeah the main problem with this is that it probably won't help viewing figures at all, in fact it may damage them. Quite a bit of the public will be fairly annoyed at this twist.

I hope Ben Frow and co are in talks to push Big Brother in a positive way somehow.

I think we should stop calling it a "twist" and refer to it instead as "rigging the show"

We got rid of Tamara and Jale last year. Surely we can get rid of Danny the Fanny.

Either way, I'd say this is the last series of BBUK in its current form - it's either going to get axed (despite the new contract) or completely shaken up.

Except that Tamara and Jale were disliked by the casual voters for reasons other than being boring. Tamara for being a member of Helen's crew and for the heavy focus on her and Winston immediately prior to the voting closing, and Jale for joining up with Helen and her treatment of people like Chris. I can't think of any reasons that anyone would want to vote Danny out - don't waste your vote.

(and anyway, for as many successful campaigns, there have been as many failed ones - Matthew went over Ash, Dan went over Sam, etc etc)

This is good for the show right now. It means the big controversial characters will stay a while longer.

It can be annoying when BB mucks around with noms like that but it's necessary to save it from being the house of bores.

Trouble is - when it is vote to EVICT - the big characters go.

When it's vote to SAVE - the big characters stay.

May as well ALWAYS make it vote to SAVE and then BB won't need to do these silly twists all the time.

They could have made the twist an eviction notice to the evictee this week.
You are getting evicted in a month. Then the evictee would be able to say/do what they want knowing they are going anyway.
It would make good television. Especially if it were Jade

Will be interesting to see what happens to civilian BB next year. I really hope they don't take the lazy option and axe it. Would be a shame for them to axe it without revitalising the show first and giving it another go.

They have themselves to blame though for these ratings. Little to no advertising, no live feed in any form, constant twists etc etc. When they made BB14 they started to develop the show into something very exciting, two years later and they've ditched and changed a lot that worked brilliantly that year.

It's contracted until 2018 although depending on the details in the contract they may have rights to axe it when the contract is in motion. I don't think it's 100% set in stone through the contract.

Although I don't know for sure what they can and can't do under the contract so I could be talking a load of rubbish.

That is fecking ridiculous! You may as well do away with nominations, evictions and the public vote and just have the producers go in there and remove the housemates they're not happy with.
The public have been manipulated for years, just don't vote and enjoy it for what it is

Default News article - Nominations Twist Revealed: Housemates Nominated For Eviction Changed

James has posted a new TiBB frontpage article.

Quote:
Channel 5 have revelealed the nominations twist. Jack is told in the diary room that the previously nominated housemates are, in fact, safe, from eviction, with the other housemates the ones to face the public vote.

Jack is given the opportunity to use one of his immunity passes to save himself.....

Nothing like what we have seen these last 2 years as ever gone on with BB. There's been manipulation, but this is now at an extreme level.

The problem is they've turned their backs on the format of the show and now they don't know what to do other that use twist after twist every other day to keep fans interested.

But what they're actually doing is pissing the viewers off and the killing the show.

I think Sarah will be in more danger than people realize, if she doesn't know she needs to hide her ugly personality like she did last week.
