oathy on Digital Spy who has been corresponding with Ben Frow for a while has posted this on DS...

Ben frow refused to confirm or deny.
only saying "lets hope the 4 new HM's inject some drama into the house".
He also confirmed a live feed would only come back if viewing numbers were around 5/6 million which means its never coming back. Whilst he accepted it does provide enhancements it simply isn't viable anymore. I just wonder why for nearly 3 months talk of a live feed on MTV was openly talked about by both companies.

But just to confirm I did ask directly was the rumour of the show being pulled early and he didn't answer

It never got that when it was on Channel 4! And how can a show that many feel doesn't work without the live coverage even hope to achieve those sort of figures?

For years this guy was stringing oathy along with the possibility of the live feed returning and now he says this.

Just axe the show. Axe it. And bury it.

If you're enjoying it then start a thread where you can all talk about what a 5 star series it's been (whilst it burns). Some of us are not enjoying it and regard the problem (or at least one of the problems) as being the very thing that the head honcho will not even consider at this point.

Live feed is never coming back? Wow I'm shocked.

Their reaction to the ratings drop has made me laugh, they think the way to win back viewers is to introduce even more twists and more manipulation when that is the reason why actually people are turning off. I reckon almost everyone on here could offer a multitude of suggestions to improve the show, I watched some clips earlier of a BB7 live show and it was infinitely better than what we get today, but for some reason or another the producers refuse to listen - they have done for many years now. Thats not going to change and for better or worse the show will be cancelled in a couple of years so I guess we might as well either enjoy what's left or just stop watching altogether.

Yep, I've said elsewhere that everything the viewers have asked for more of, they've done less of and everything they've asked for less of, they've done more of. For an interactive show, it is truly bizarre.
