we had snow on tuesday and by wednesday afternoon it was gone and it was sleet today and very heavy hailstones and its very cold.

Got LOADS of snow today, but the gritters got rid of it all.
Hope it snows heavily tonight because then college will be off tomorrow. |

We ALWAYS have to go in, regardless of snow and coldness.
However, one morning the snow was REALLY heavy, and some of the pupils at my school are from Durham (Me included) and it usually goes heavier there, so most of the teachers couldn't get in either, and only half the pupils turned up. So they decided to let us go home, but thats the only time in the schools history we've had a snow day I'm not holding out any hope.
