Don't get the hate on the Judge. There is no legal standing for Kesha to break the contract unless Dr Luke is convicted and there isn't enough evidence of it. The Judge made the decision they had to make in fairness.

Why is it so strict in the music industry? If she was working in the real world she would resign which she's not allowed to do

It seems Sony explicitly stated Kesha is free to work with other producers, but it is absurd that Dr. Luke/Kemosabe Records want to keep their contract in place - it's childish, stubborn, greedy, and just plain disgusting. She's already made them a **** ton of money. It's sickening that they basically want to keep her shackled to this contract and work as their puppet while they profit from it without any creative involvement. What a "commercially reasonable" thing to do.
