Oh it better not be just lights!!

Why are people still talking about "two houses"? Surely the plans show one big house?

Sometimes they can't even fill the current crowd space so if they're going for 500 this time then they're awfully optimistic about the impact of this new house on the ratings

Won't having the crowd all standing rather than in stands will make it appear like there's a lot? They hid it quite well in BB9/10

I've often thought that would be an amazing idea. If evictees never actually end up going anywhere but have control over the house. Maybe not all of them, but some. They can't be allowed to win though - that's the whole point of them being evicted.

I don't think a lot of them would agree to stay though if they couldn't win. I too have thought something like this would be a fun idea though.

Maybe do the first half of the series as regular evictions, and then half way through announce that from that point forward, every evictee (evicted under a vote to save, or move, really) would move into a secret house. This continues until finale night, when you then announce to the regular house that they're all actually automatically evicted and stand no chance of winning. Imagine the faces of what would be a house full of bores and it'd be completely deserved

Hopefully this new set will have no spinny platform at the top of the stairs before the entrance door

Just a basic staircase please

The outdoor elements which are not permanent (as in not requiring foundations) can probably be put in place, but realistically they're just clearing the site as the outdoor eviction set will be the last thing to be built. They just need to prepare the site and they can do everything but build before getting permission.

We still don't know when the next series will air - there is a line in the planning document which suggests it may be later than normal (due to Emma's pregnancy?) although worth remembering they built the BB3 house in between January and May 2002, and did all the reconstruction of the back of it for BB9 in between Celeb Hijack in Jan and BB9 in late May/early June.

The documents refer to it as the "2nd house", although the two will be connected.

I am so PERCHT for these house changes even tho I can't understand most of the plans. The new house design is a good start but imagine if bb17 had an amazing cast, the most housemates ever, overnight tasks and live feed!!

(Lbr there won't be but I can dream)

I see, with the maps/plans I can't see the writing, and when I zoom in it's too pixelly I need glasses, apparently!
