Default Whats next for BB?

What would you like to see in BB8? Do you think we should go back to the way BB used to be or keep heading forward with more twists, more housemates and keep increasing the length of the show?

Default BB8 Ideas and House Plans (and related topics merged)

Above is a logo I made for BB8. It's Green because Housemates will be competing a lot in this series, as competition is associated with jealousy, and it's divded up because, well, there will be a divide, like in BB3.

But it won't be bars that seperate the House this time. After the second week, a task will determine which six housemates stay in the Main House, and which move into the Poor House, located on the other side of the Diary Room. Sounds like the HND in BB7, huh? Well it's not. The HND was nice, clean and cosy. The Poor House looks like a rotting cabin. Beds aren't much soft, and the Lounge is effectively just cushions on wooden seats.

Sometime halfway through the series, six new Housemates will move into the Main House, whilst the rest of the Housemates will move to the Poor House to work as their servants, similar to CBB5. These new Housemates will also be asked to nominate one original Housemate each for eviction the following week. Every Housemate nominated is up. However, a few days after the six enter, the original Housemates will decide between themselves which two should be booted, a la Jonathan and Kinga. The Poor House will ultimately be closed around Week 10.

Now, for the rest of the House. The theme is Retro. The Lounge, which is no longer seperated from the rest of the House, will have 60s "low-and-wide" sofas. The Kitchen will have a 50s Diner Feel to it. The beds will have 60s-style patterns on their sheets. The walls of the House will be Green and Red, whilst the Garden's wall will be made of stones.

And finally, the first night twist. Basically, Big Brother will ask three Housemates to come to the Diary Room. When they do, Big Brother will tell them that they are up for eviction, and this will be played to the rest of the Housemates.

Here's a diagram of the House:

Less twists definately, always nice to see a twist but they seem to go well over the top now and end up ruining things, also bring back some of the old tasks because as proved during CBB the ideas are no where near as good.

Id like to see a small change to the format.
A return to the Saturday Night Challenges - but this time, not for the prize fund, this time there will be one winner and that person has immunity from that weeks nominations and has the power to automactily nomintie one person for eviction. I think this will make BB more of what its supposed to be, a game. I like to see a new Nominations show instead of BBBB. Davina/Dermot could host the show were the housemates nominite live with the results being annonced to the house at the end of the show and voting opening on a Monday instead of a Tuesday.

Less twists, instead have 2 or 3 big twists and then have some pretty decent tasks and bring back the secret missions.

Keep BBBM the way it is. Put BBLB on fewer days a week and move BBBB to a Saturday night.

For evictions, No more joint evictions or interviews, please!

Oh and up it to 100 Days!

I hope the charcters in bb8, will be all different, (but not weird) I cant stand it when they fill the house with weiro's. I want to see a relationship between two of the housemates. I like watching that. I hope the people arn't all weird, ugly, or boring.

They need to have a mix of entertaining people and beutiful people.
(if u get hwat i mean), pmsl.

I think that they should knock the wall down separating the house next door from the main house so it's all one big house. x

Default My BB8 Idea

My design for the BB8 house is much bigger than the BB7 house, I hate small BB houses. The enterance is the same as usuall but when you walk down the stairs you wont just walk straight into the main living area, you'll walk into a hallway with 6 doors coming off it. The bathroom now has it's own room and isn't connected onto the bedroom, it has a massive shower, big enough for 3 people and the bath is back again along with a toilet, sink and urinals. The bedroom is the biggest yet, being able to cateer for about 17 housemates, the bedroom also has its own toilet. The Diary room is also bigger than BB7 with a new chair and a more stylish look. The kitchen isnt open plan anymore, it over looks the garden, this year with one added extra a washing machine. The living area is also much bigger than before, the main colour being purple. We then lead onto the dining room, which also has its own room this year with a massive table and double doors that overlook the new garden. The garden is about the same size as it was for BB7 with a BB6 style pool and plenty of areas to go and sit.

Default My BB8 Floorplan

This is a floorplan of what I'd like the bb8 house to be like:

A little explanation:

About the Member's Club

- All rooms shaded light orange are a special area which I've dubbed "The Member's Club". Housemates would be split in to groups to complete a task every Sunday. The winning group would win exclusive access to the Member's Club for the following 7 days.

- The indoor pool is heated, and shares a changing room with the sauna. The changing room has cameras inside.

- The gym and bar are exposed to the rest of the house by glass walls.

- The toilet conceals secondary access to the diary room. Housemates will not know this exists untill they win the task and get inside to see it.

- The members club will be available to the appropriate housemates 24 hours a day and can be used at their disposal.

Other notes

- The outdoor pool is so small it can only fit a maximum of 4 people (with a squeeze) at a time, to create added temptation to win access to the indoor pool.

- The wall of the shower room that connects it to the garden is made of glass.

- The kitchen is not open-plan, however the dining area is.

...and that's it. I will try to make some 3D images and post them here soon.

Oh, and thanks to Lampy88 for the inspiration for this.

So, what do you think?
