Couldn't disagree with all of this more. Anyone can be bullied, to say only weak people can be victims of bullying is just plain wrong. As is suggesting the existence of a Diary Room automatically rules out the possibility of bullying or isolation taking place in there.

I'm sorry but a "bully" can huff and puff all they like, but they can only take advantage of someone that can be bullied. To deny that basic fact is to not understand the issue.

I think the one claiming only weak people can be bullied is the one lacking a basic understanding of bullying.

Anyone can be bullied, I've got a strong personality and I've been bullied in life.

I just feel really uncomfortable with bullying debates on BB though as anyone being spoken to in a nasty way is automatically being bullied ever since Shilpagate.

The only people that I've seen be bullied on Ch5 BB have been.

But that's not what is causing a fuss, it's the fact that they decided to make her the butt of a spiteful joke for a dare to take the piss out of her in front of the others when she was on the other side of the garden minding her own business.

It's more of a nasty one off incident than actual bullying though.

Admittedly if it kept happening repeatedly and Saira was genuinely struggling to cope with it then I would agree with you that it's bullying.

if you read my entire paragraph, i also added that no-one could be isolated etc. It's a combination of factors that provides a failsafe environment.

Of course they bloody can. People have been isolated numerous times over the years on BB, the mere existence of a Diary Room doesn't change that.

The Big Brother house is one of the most isolated places on planet earth, that is its very nature...to suggest otherwise is just bizarre

of course you can be isolated in there

That said, one incident is not tantamount to bullying. It was uncomfortable to watch and twatty, but unless it continues it's not bullying
