Ok we can all trawl through the net to find examples of thin women and sites that refute the images. The hard fact is many women who are in the public eye are worryingly underweight. Victoria Beckham, Nicole Ritchie to name but 2 it wouldnt be hard to throw out a long list though. These women have worked hard to make sure they are in the public eye, if they do that then we have a right to debate them and worry about the impact they have on our children.

The pictures were exaggerated but the models are still too thin, one of them still died for being at that weight - and still felt that she needed to lose more weight.

A few years ago now, I think it was a Miss Switzerland competitor had liposuction so she could take part, and the day of the contest was quite cold and she ended up dying of pneumonia because she wasn't accustomed to cold weather as a thinner woman. I don't think she was even particularly fat, which is the sad thing. I think her name was Gabriella Grosman, but I'll check that later.
