Raising awareness is great.

Someone like Nicola McLean appearing on a programme like Loose Women isn't raising awareness. It's like doing an interview for the Sun, it's for her own personal exposure.

Well, it's not really about how she came across on a reality show.

It's about something specific she said to a woman who had lost the only child she ever had. There's a direct correlation between her making that comment to a woman and the comments she's now receiving given this predicament she's now been put in.

I'm not saying people are justified in being glad this has happened to her or anything, just pointing out there is an obvious similarity in the circumstances to warrant it arriving in the discussion.

Yeah, and I'm more than entitled to comment about how self serving and narcissistic she is.

Not that she's the only one, I hate the celebrity culture where the FIRST port of call for a celeb who has received bad news or gone through a traumatic time is to capitalise on the attention and get fame and money from it. Some of the posts in here are truely repulsive and those who posted them should be ashamed.

She has been ill for a while and had to have a hysterectomy to lower the risk of cancer and the prospect of possibly passing away before her children grew up, she wanted to have more children and decided to talk about her experiences. How is any of that karma?

My mum was forced to abort a baby and have an hysterectomy but she was getting money from her story or making a big deal about it she valued her life and the kids she already had over having more kids
