I've only come back to this forum since last year, don't remember Raph from on here but as an overall view I have to say there are "blind" supporters of most of the housemates.

What I mean by that is they refuse to see any negative in their favourites, whereas all people have a bad side. Sooner people realised that and got a sense of humour about it the better.

My favourite at the moment is Izzy, I've loved her since she came in but I can still see her faults. I think she's sticking by Andrew too much and that could be her downfall for example.

I also love Deborah but I'm willing to acknowledge that she's done wrong as well.

It's called adult discussion lads.

Raph comes across as a really nice and interesting person. But he hasn't given an insane amount to the series.

She let herself get sucked in by Sukvinder the first couple of weeks and fell for the whole race card thing.

She has gotten aggressive and over-reacted and times also.

The run up the stairs was probably the worst thing she's done.

I dont forget her contstanly throwing in the race card ,her violence towards Ellie that night, but say you dont like her for these reasons and you get labelled a racist,I dont like her constantly moaning sister for the drama she caused over a plastic mouse and her stupidity over the Smurfs it cannot be you just don't like them for these reasons , it has to be more ,same every series

I've just enjoyed Raph as a housemate, I've found his quirks and laugh really cute and endearing. I think he has more layers to his personality than your average BB housemate.

- Raph was Arthur's only support week 1
- Chanelle/Raph friendship
- Joe feud
- Brilliant during fight night (he helped keep Deborah in the bloody house)
- Handled the unwanted attention from Andrew brilliantly
- Always game during tasks and spin the bottle etc
- Brilliant at nominations

I think Raph comes across as an interesting guy, I like when he does little analysis like the BB house families one. I think he articulates his points well and is a nice guy. Mostly I want him to do well because of his connection to the forum and because I know him (as far as you can know someone online) and also because he's a genuine fan of the show, doesn't have an agent or any other reality show connections.

I would be equally happy for Debs or Issy to win though

I agree with this and i think i would still be a fan if i wasnt friends with him but he has been so interesting this season and it's nice to see a normal interesting character on big brother.

I would be really happy if Raph won and i would be happy with anyone else that isn't Ellie/Tom/charlotte/Kieran winning

OK I have bumped the announcement about the rules. Its easy enough to follow tbh, just post your own opinions on the housemates without sniping at someone else Many do manage it.

Wow so basically the rules encourage you to make as many diffrent hate thread about the hm you dont like and make as many diffrent love thread for the hm you like?

And those who protest it will get banned?

Honestly, I feel people are misunderstanding on purpose now.

Also I am wondering what is classed as a 'hate thread' to people on here. This thread for example, is not a hate thread, its criticism. If a housemate does a few things that people talk about, there will be a few different threads on them. Take Lotan for example. Would it have been right to merge all negative Lotan threads into one? of course not. Yes there were many per day, but they all had different points to them...

I kind of feel like members are expecting us to merge everything negative about Raph into one thread, which is obviously daft :S And yes, I mention Raph specifically because it seems to be only negative Raph threads that people have a problem with, it seems being negative about other housemates is fine

Edit. When he comes back on here I am fairly sure he will find all of this amusing too

Yup. This is very true.

I wouldn't say ignore the threads though really. Its possible to add to the discussion and let people know why you disagree with their opinion and such I love defending my faves year after year. Sadly this year I have no fave as such so I am not experiencing BB properly :S

They are not HATE threads...they are opinions on a housemate over an issue observed watching the show...either positive ir negative. So long as its a reasonable explanation referring to an incident and offers an opinion whats the problem.
If people were posting derogative comments about a housemate not related to an incident shown etc...then that maybe viewed differently.

As I said to Vicky a few weeks ago - I've always had a soft spot for the "boring" HMs (Sam Kay, Charlie Travers, Chris Wright, Lauren Carre (if she counts), not to mention the CBB ones like Patsy Kensit and Jessica Cunningham) so I'd like to think I'd support him for being righteous in the few disagreements he's had:

- Pointing out that Kieran is being a selfish fuckwad with the alcohol
- Pointing out that Joe is a needlessly condescending drag queen
- Pointing out that Tom is a brainless child

I'll happily admit I wouldn't support him half as much if he wasn't a friend but that's just a pointless hypothetical.

Part of me thinks the producers are gutted he's not lived up to his Trump-loving, populars-destroying audition and/or pissed off he's lied to get in there, and have therefore since been showing him as minimally as possible / favouring the Ellie/Chanelle stories, but I can't help but laugh at them for falling for it.

Yes I think this too..the cast him to be some massive controversial character I can't believe they still fall for it though, obviously people exaggerate or completely make up new personas to actually get on the show. It happens year after year and people still seem shocked when the HM is nothing like their VT
