Terrible. Hope it's just a blip,. But it needs to rise to at the very least to 1.6m to get 2m+ officials... and that will still only be "ok" for winter CBB. Great for summer.

1.3-1.4m was what CBB in summer was getting which was lowest ever CBB, so it will be awful if a JAN series is the lowest!

It's not going to average 2 million + when they are splitting launches and putting it on 5* again on Saturdays though unless the catchup figures are really big.

I mean officially, so 1.6m overnights at least.

But i think it'll be 1.3-1.4m all series unless the men boost it.

I think the show will increase ratings when men go in. Courtney Act could get people watching because RuPaul's Drag Race is quite popular. Jonny from Love Island might draw in the viewers that watched LI and Dapper Laughs could bring in viewers due to being known for his controversial stuff

It's weird because with CBB13, CBB15 and CBB17 there was a genuine buzz around the series. CBB19 only had a build up because of the press speculating who would be back. This series had barely anything despite having IAC/SCD worthy names. Bear really did kill CBB.

Do we think the officials will help much this series? I remember one episode of CBB20 getting 700k on catchup (I think it was in the first week?) but that number went down due to it being boring

Hopefully, especially with the audience this series seems to be targeting, more people are watching on catchup and if it does reach 700k it’ll stay at that level idk just thinking positive x

I think pretty much all of us have accepted that this is the last year of BB so in a way d the ratings even matter at this point?

Yep, i used to care more up until a years ago, Obsessed between BB7-BB13, still very interested in BB14-15, during BB16 i used to be like "well it's gonna be bad anyway", and then by BB18, I was accepting and shrugging off the 700k figures.

Back in the late C4 years i used to sneak off every 9:30am-9:45am from a lesson in school to go to the toilet to check the ratings....

wtf was wrong with me man/. Now, i'm like, "it's a tv show, i'm not getting any money for a ratings rise!"

Apparently it got 1.35m (6.4%), not 1.4m. 1.4m must have been the rounded figure. The ratings just keeps getting worse and worse

It's kind of fun to follow the ratings. I don't know why but it's interesting, especially if they're really bad or really good

They should announce it's over this summer when CBB21 ends.
