I just don't see the point tbh, the only thread left from Murder House is the devil child, if they just have a new family move into the house it'll just be a case of treading water.

I think Coven's got more room for stories as I think the concept of witches could easily extend to new characters (and hopefully be done better this time) but I just think a crossover feels a bit pointless.

The only real plotline I could think of is that the Murder House becomes the location for a new Coven and the Witches bump heads with the ghosts but that idea doesn't have enough steam to last ten episodes.

The series is an anthology, as such my guess is that it’s going to revolve around the world of witches but maybe at the Murder house or it relates to it, so you don’t need to have seen Coven or Murder House to watch this season bc it isn’t going to be a “sequel” season so to speak, it won’t have anything to do with devil child or the witches that were left at the end of Coven

Sounds messy and very much like we'll have all or most of the characters from 1 and 3 blended with new ones.

Paulson as Billie Dean, Cordelia and then a new character.

It, like most AHS seasons, has the potential to be really really good. But Ryan Murphy can't keep track of one group of characters and one plot line never mind the mammoth job this sounds like it's going to be.

So literally every season of AHS so far then? . There are a few seasons that I've started and not finished... because every single season has had a brilliant first half and then a jumbled, confused mess of a second half. The only one that came CLOSE to a cohesive full season narrative was Asylum - and even that has a messy finale / pre-finale.

The writers of AHS quite clearly suffer from the (very common, to be fair) problem of having a great idea for a story, being able to create a great world for that story and characters to put in it, but absolutely no idea how to close out a 3rd act.
