Right.
I hope you are aware, Stuart, that bullying is not often about the words, but the WAY someone says something. Your post is mute.
I hope your aware , Moses Four Five Five , she merely asked her her damn age. If Lesley could not take that simple request , fine but its silly to assume it as bullying.
I hope you are aware, Stuart, I am not 'assuming' it is bullying, I have looked at the circumstances behind Emily's vile actions, and this fits the criterion of bullying. Please see above for explanation.

I hope your aware , Moses Four Five Five , she merely asked her her damn age. If Lesley could not take that simple request , fine but its silly to assume it as bullying.

I hope you are aware , Moses Four Four Five , that you are perhaps the only person in human history to use the word 'vile' to describe the actions of asking an age.

Here , read this :

–adjective, vil·er, vil·est. 1. wretchedly bad: a vile humor.
2. highly offensive, unpleasant, or objectionable: vile slander.
3. repulsive or disgusting, as to the senses or feelings: a vile odor.
4. morally debased, depraved, or despicable: vile deeds.
5. foul; filthy: vile language.
6. poor; wretched: vile workmanship.
7. of mean or low condition: a vile beggar.
8. menial; lowly: vile tasks.
9. degraded; ignominious: vile servitude.
10. of little value or account; paltry: a vile recompense.

to be fair J.C she didnt actually say it like that. She asked her what year she was born in, and gave a reason for asking so
Well I admit that I must have missed the part where she explained why she wanted to know the year .That could certainly effect my opinion. I was some what taken back by the answer in fact.
`my husband was on the beaches in the war`So do we know her age I think I missed that too. She must be around 67 ish??

Unfortuantely, emily was 'finding out the truth' in a rather belittling and ostracising way.

That number 7 does it for Lesley .

She lied about her age to make herself more vulnerable and snatched away the single bed.

She got the single because she told the housemates that the production team told her it was her bed. It didn't have anything to do with the the age thing.

She lied about her age to make herself more vulnerable and snatched away the single bed.
I believe Stuart, it's jsut a question of time, Chill your boots, Karma -2 nothing on that list describes Lesley! How dare you.

Because she is playing a mind game with the other housemates and she doesn't want them to know her age.

now now, come on!! Can't be comparing housemates to Grace just because they've apparently lied about their age.

I would never describe Lesley as 'a poor vulnerable old woman'. I think she is clever and manipulative, but I still feel Emily was ganging up on her, which is tantamount to bullying.

She know what she is doing and she can play the game the way she likes. If she doesn't want to tell them her age she doesn't have to.

Emily made a mistake and asked her in a rude way..... but it's no big deal. There are worse things that have happened in the house so far this series. So I can't see why such a fuss is being made out of it.

By asking her age? Surely clever Lesley is enough to rise above that!

The group were having a freindly discussion about age.
