I don't even think the punch was warranted, especially when you consider that it wasn't an automatic response, that would be understandable but he literally turned around, saw that it was a little teenager and then punched him because he knew he could.

That may well all be true... but the kid threw the egg and it was an assault.

Egg throwing and milkshake throwing are just about the level for a 15 year old. Maybe his parents will make it their business to know whether he's up to no good next time.
