I agree with what Amy Hart stated, as I work around the TV industry and know freelancers, the income from the show would probably contribute to a big chunk of their yearly income this year.

I personally think the Love Islanders are hardworking. To get the kind body to be able to be cast on the show you have to have resilience, Hard work, graft and some talent. It’s easy to say they’re talentless/lazy/ when you have no idea what it takes to be able to have the discipline to achieve that body/form

I’m not saying they’re smart, as many of them are completely stupid (Likewise with drag race contestants), but kudos to them for seeing an opportunity

People celebrate when a show they can't stand is taken off the air, who actually cares.

Nobody's dictating what you or anyone else should watch, just expressing their own like/dislike/interest or otherwise about a show.
