It's not an excuse, no one should be attacking anyone, but of course it would apply to anyone of any race when there are clear individual reasons for them being attacked.

Anyone who claims that they don't see the irony in a man who has made a career out of hating immigrants and asylum seekers and who championed Brexit, leaving Britain for an EU country and emigrating to Spain for his and his family's safety...

... is either not being truthful, or doesn't understand what irony is. I can think of very few BETTER real-world examples of irony than "Tommy Robinson has become an asylum seeker in an EU nation".

He'd probably be better described as a cultural/"native" supremacist, I think it has little to do with colour, other than him making assumptions about people based on their colour. He seems to be fine with people of other ethnicities so long as an English accent comes out of their mouth when they open it, and they are culturally white British.

That is a form of white supremacy though. Just the brand that thinks different skin colours are fine so long as they "play white".

Like, as an ideology of course islam should have as little influence as possible in the west, but that doesn't justify the way he spews hatred in the media and thinks with his fists, but I've never heard the hate pointed elsewhere.
