I don't think Israel have ever shown restraint, not doing what they usually do and murder a bunch of palestinian civilians in response shouldn't be praised because not engaging in such retaliatory violence should be the bare minimum.

Given the west's acceptance of Israel's frequent human rights abuses of the palestinian citizenry, the only way I can see this conflict ending is in the genocide of the palestinians which is obviously completely unacceptable.

At least three rockets have been fired from Lebanon towards Israel, the Israeli military has confirmed.

The military said the rockets landed in the Mediterranean Sea, causing no damage or casualties.

It said after the rocket attack “according to protocol no sirens were sounded.”

The rockets were launched from the Qlaileh area north of Naqoura, near the border with Israel.

Israel’s public broadcaster Kann news said residents in Western Galilee report hearing explosions.

Citing security sources, Lebanese media reported that Palestinian factions were likely behind the firing of several rockets from south of the coastal city of Tyre.

Lebanon’s Al-Jadeed news channel cited sources saying the rocket launched from southern Lebanon were not fired from Hezbollah platforms.

Meanwhile, Lebanese media also reported Israeli warplanes were flying over southern Lebanese regions.

Israel has been trading fire with Palestinian Islamist group Hamas this week in their worst hostilities for years.

Israel fought a 2006 war against Hezbollah guerrillas, who have sway in southern Lebanon and advanced rockets, though the border has been mostly quiet since then.

Small Palestinian factions in Lebanon have fired sporadically on Israel in the past.

This is all desperately sad, I've always felt more needed to be done to bring about the 2 Nation solution hopefully.

However, I've never faltered in my view, Israel are not the warmongering Nation some deem them to be.

They are a Nation surrounded by enemies.

Yes, there's wrongs on both sides, there always will be on these sad conflicts.
However I still come down to the right of Israel to defend itself.
I'm not saying they do all that's right, then again neither do the other side too.

At the end of the day, Israel is guilty of Apartheid and Human Rights abuse. Both are undeniable and is recognised by several different authorities on these issues. Hamas are just as bad, but it's the palestinian citizenry that are being targetted, abused and killed. I believe the latest war crime Israel have comitted, has been an air strike on a refugee camp, killing 10 people (8 of which were children).

Israel won't stop until they commit genocide against the palestinian populace. I honestly believe that, because no one will stop them, and the world will be happy to watch innocent civilians die because we can just think 'oh well, they're probably terrorists anyway.'

Apparently Israel have purposefully airstriked Al Jazeera News. They gave warning befirehand but now the building is gone, along with all the private homes the building housed.
