I agree completely - he's a centrist dweeb, but even a stopped clock and all that. It's hilarious for me to see everyone (including the labour front bench tory tribute act), all lose their minds because someone actually spoke the truth to the establishment, and even the fact he's as establishment as them, hasn't stopped the pile on.

Have you visited Kent recently Slim? Maybe if you lived here like I do, you would understand the impact these illegal immigrants are having on the local community here. So, no, its not the blinking truth that Gary talks, not even close

I have to now say I'm now on the platform of there is a very concerning attitude from Braverman and this government on what has always been a contentious issue.

To say anyone who is manipulated by criminals, who comes to the UK in boats..
Are now going to be criminalised too, PLUS barred from ever seeking asylum in the UK in their lives.
That they'll be held for around 28 days then forcibly shipped off to somewhere else, like the gross Rwanda, or even somewhere else even this rotten government hasn't set up yet.

That sounds extremely sinister and very worrying rhetoric indeed.

In my view, economic migrants, refugees and others seeking asylum for other reasons.
The rights and wrongs have to be established and processed more rapidly.
However those people are living human beings, with hearts and feelings, lives and families.

They shouldn't be treated like parcels or like waste to be dumped anywhere because this government and some of the population in this Country just don't want anything to do with them.

As for capping numbers.
That's shown to be impossible really unless the UK cuts itself off from the rest of the World.
What if more Ukraine conflicts set up.
What do you do with a cap then.

The government are expecting court and legal battles because they already KNOW this policy is wrong.
So they are on the deceit line again to the Country.
Since they've no other answers to this issue because we fail to properly get other Nations on board, because of a lack of compassion, understanding and sensitive planning on the immigration issue.

It's actually shameful.
Then allowing the extreme hard-line Bravernan to spout out her venomous prejudice and deceitful scaremongering in the high office of Home Secretary is an absolute scandal in my view.

The issue obviously will be poverty and ghettoisation amongst immigrant communities which does have an effect on local communities, especially small communities, but of course there are answers to that in encouraging better integration of asylum seekers into communities, it doesn't have to be "just don't let anyone in" ... but the government will never enact/fund anything like that.

It is somewhat unfair to put on rose-tinted glasses and pretend that there aren't negative impacts on small communities when the demographic dramatically changes with poor levels of integration.

But would you say the same to the hardline LGBTQ activists who advocate for compelled speech? Because that too has a fair whiff of fascism about it. Or the ones picketing Universities to try to stop studies that have already gone through high-level ethics committees because they're worried they won't like what the research shows... that's happening an awful lot, too.
