A hit is something that was successful. Probably made the top 5 or at least the top 10. Anything under reaching number 20 isn't a hit.

So if they only had one hit, then they're a one hit wonder. Like our Chesney.

I think to make it simpler for everyone. If they only had one top ten hit. Then that should count as a one hit wonder.

And if you want to change your song then you still have time.

The opposite to "hit" is "miss" Which means if it did well, it was a hit and if it didn't do do wel, it was a miss.
