I agree with you that the bigger focus should be on the message of both videos in general.

I do think that the second video did add in a secondary message that's less complimentary to the video imo, which sadly will have some people discussing that instead of the actual point of the video.

Imo the first video was done better, because the Reporter just did her job with nothing to really pull up from my perspective anyway.
