Imagine the USA's manager saying they're not singing the national anthem. Or Scotland. Or Ireland... People would be outraged. But it's different with England, the English aren't supposed to be patriotic because it bothers some people for some reason.

It's never ever been tradition for the scottish football team to belt out the anthem. The rugby team, well that's a different matter, but the football team usually looks like an load of embarrassed pupils forces to sing hymns at assembly.

I'm not even sure if flower of Scotland was our nations anthem back in the day (1978) and England, get tae **** with god save the king, you ain't playing for britain.

For us fans we sing outside loud every week but these players dont not being fans so it must feel weird

The team looked good in the first half so I frankly dont care.

I like he's giving young players a chance that he's worked with before.

i never sing our dutch national anthem LOL


i always rise for the German National anthem though because we all got germanic in our blood tbh and i also rise for the Belgian national anthem, they are our southern neighbours and a much better country too
