if we are on the subject of race/discrimination, try this:

a couple of weeks back, the men in the house got beer, and decided to keep it for themselves and not share, whats even more shocking is that they invited jonothan in but didnt invite gerry! so they excluded gerry and he is gay! thats the most racist thing ever probably
they invited Johnathan because his Gran had just died
sorry, but thats not rubbish, i find it hard to believe that every single man in the house was in the diary room that night except for one, and the one that was singled out and not invited was gerry, who is gay, and while in the diary room, they kept saying things like 'one for the men', and stuff like that, so basically all the men in the house decided to have a little get-together, but didnt invite gerry because he is gay, now that is homophobic
They forgot to invite him! None of them said they didn't invite him because he was gay. Where did you get that from? You seem to be making things up to strengthen your argument.

Also, why are you making a big deal out of that? It was nothing and I thought this was about nicky not the guys?
actually, they specifically said 'lets get all the men together' when they got the beer, and they went out for jonothan and got him, while gerry was sat not two feet away from him, now how is that NOT homophobic? and Im only bringing up the 'homophobic' card, because people constantly go on about racism, which is highly annoying considering that there is no racism since emily was evicted weeks ago, and if people can go on about racism, why i cant i discuss this?
We are on about SEXism not RACEism, the guys are best freinds with Gerry so they aint homophobic
Earlier you said homophobia is a form of discrimination, Laura is just wondering why nicky is getting stick for a form of discrimination when the boys have done the same. (i hope thats what your thinkinh Laura lol)

You can't compare a genuine human emotion with calculated bigotry. I didn't notice her being particularly 'hateful' when Liam was flirting with her, either. If you want to dislike the girl, then that's your prerogative. But conducting a witch hunt based on non-existent prejudice is prejudiced in itself.
No, she is sexist and if a male was as bad they would be lynched by the female voters. It is my prerogative to dislike nicky for whatever reason I want. It’s called an opinion.
Nobody said you couldnt dislike Nicky, or say you couldnt have an opinion did they? So what if Nicky dislikes women, didnt Mikey was sexist in his VT, he still did well.
Difference between Mikey and Nicky is:

Nicky made it clear she hates men and she still does.

Mikey did it in his VT to make him look more interesting so he could get in to BB.
Hows that? Nicky could have bene going through a relationship problem at the time, or even so she could have just said it to get on the show. At the end of the day, shes been pleasant to the men, and ahs showed no signs that she hates them because they are male
She makes it very clear in that house that she hates men. You even saw Ziggy nominate her tonight because of it.

So in effect, one of the reasons she is up for eviction this week is because she hates men...

The thing is he was hated for it, also if he was sexist, then how come he had a relationship?
Errr Nicky liked Liam. How is seh sexist then? The exact same thing
You can be sexist and still like a particular person.
Explain that to AntParker then cos "Mikey was in a relationship, so hes not sexist"

I just move my index finger across the keyboard, and it appears like magic. I don't 'choose to ignore' anything - when it's factual. If you'd care to provide examples, then I may just re-evaluate my stance.

it really makes me laugh how people call her a man hater, when she wanted a relationship with liam, but liam turned on her and started being mean to her by ignoring her etc, and before she went into the house her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend!, now put yourself in her shoes:

you are a woman who is love with somebody (a man), who then goes and breaks your heart in the cruelest way, wouldnt you go off men for a while after that, or would you be like 'oh well, not all men are like that', sorry but you would hate men after that! it happens with men too, they go out with girls who then cheat on them, then the men say they have 'finished with girls', it happens all the time, now just because its happened to somebody who is on national telly, she is hated, which just isnt fair

The thing about this is, is that Big Brother isn't just "Normal People Living in a House" it has turned into a freakshow ever since BB5, really. So Nicky is a normal girl, yes, but people like freaks.

Ok…

1. Sexism is not about attraction. Nicky can be attracted to liam and STILL be sexist.

2. Forgetting to invite someone into the diary room- should not automatically make you presume he was prejudiced because he is gay.

3. Racism is when you prejudice against someone because of their race (how did that get in here?)

4. Live feed or not, people have formed their opinions and you don’t know if they watch the live feed or not so don’t just assume they don’t watch it.

Funny how people forget things that don't support their argument. I for one do remember nicky saying all men are vile because I am male and found it offensive.

thats my point exactly, their exact words were 'lets get all the men', then they went and got jonothan (who was sitting on the same sofa as gerry!), but they never got gerry, now tell how that isnt homophobic? they said they were going to get 'ALL the men', and they did, but the only man they left out was gay, and that want just coincidence at all, because when liam went out to get jonothan, jonothan was sat on the sofas talking to gerry, they purposely (or maybe just liam) excluded gerry for some reason, and the obvious reason would because he was gay, and they wanted some sort of 'manly get together'. nicky is a saint compared to others.

if we are on the subject of race/discrimination, try this:

a couple of weeks back, the men in the house got beer, and decided to keep it for themselves and not share, whats even more shocking is that they invited jonothan in but didnt invite gerry! so they excluded gerry and he is gay! thats the most racist thing ever probably
they invited Johnathan because his Gran had just died
sorry, but thats not rubbish, i find it hard to believe that every single man in the house was in the diary room that night except for one, and the one that was singled out and not invited was gerry, who is gay, and while in the diary room, they kept saying things like 'one for the men', and stuff like that, so basically all the men in the house decided to have a little get-together, but didnt invite gerry because he is gay, now that is homophobic
They forgot to invite him! None of them said they didn't invite him because he was gay. Where did you get that from? You seem to be making things up to strengthen your argument.

Also, why are you making a big deal out of that? It was nothing and I thought this was about nicky not the guys?
I think Laura has a point, I was suspicious of that myself and wondered why Gerry wasn't invited. They didn't specify that they brought Jonathan in because he was leaving soon and because of the tragic news he received earlier. But they did specify that they wanted all the men in the Diary Room, and yet left out the only gay man.

Not to mention, Ziggy was there with Brian and Liam and has shown signs of homophobia before, it just makes me more suspicious.

Of course no-one can really know why Gerry wasn't invited to the Diary Room after they three boys had specifically said they wanted all the men in there, I'm only suspicious of why they excluded Gerry but I don't know for sure, neither can anyone else.
thats my point exactly, their exact words were 'lets get all the men', then they went and got jonothan (who was sitting on the same sofa as gerry!), but they never got gerry, now tell how that isnt homophobic? they said they were going to get 'ALL the men', and they did, but the only man they left out was gay, and that want just coincidence at all, because when liam went out to get jonothan, jonothan was sat on the sofas talking to gerry, they purposely (or maybe just liam) excluded gerry for some reason, and the obvious reason would because he was gay, and they wanted some sort of 'manly get together'. nicky is a saint compared to others.
You are reading too much into this. Sometimes it's best to focus on the facts and what has actually been said rather than to speculate about what you think the men where thinking.

If we go on what nicky has said, I think many would find her more offensive. I suppose we will see come friday.
