Its just that in Europe (not UK) - smoking is totally the done thing. In britain now hardly anyone smokes so its frowned upon etc. But in europe its like done by everyone. Like you can smoke in bars, cafes, restaurants etc. We cant do any of that though.

So I can see why you wouldnt want to stop as its the done thing where you are from.

When you move to London - you will see how weird it is! hehe

But good luck for when you do (move that is)

Yes it's a dirty habit.
Yes it is disgusting.

I will quit, but it is so hard.

But has anybody on here actually achieved it, and if so any pointers? (please).
I don't think it's a dirty habit, at all. Okay it's not that healthy but I would rather smoking than taking drugs.
I don't want to quit anyway. However, I do practice a lot of sport and I exercise every day so I kinda feel the bad sides but that's all.

Smokers rocks !
It is terribly dirty! Ewwwwness

No we can't smoke in bars, clubs and restaurants...not even in College and Uni no more ! We (Students) were on strike in February 2007 'cause we didn't want to go smoking outside school.

I've been to London quite a few times and cigarettes are hell expensive ! It's crazy dude.

Mwahahahha non-smokers get our revenge. Can we have no smoking day. When all the smokers get locked in cages over the River Thames?

I don't think it's fair for us. I mean, we haven't done anything wrong and people treat us like crap, like seriously ?
You don't like smokers, that's your right, but the whole thing is gone too far: you got what you wanted, I think it's time to give up.
(don't take it personally Sam lol it's for all those non-smokers who are like 'Ewwww dis is sick 111'

That's our revenge. Politicians should have thought about that before.

Oh just ban it altogether. Theres nothing more annoying than walking down a packed street and a smoker being in front of you not really caring where their smoke is going.

I'd rather have smoke outside then have horrible smelling everywhere inside. I always found it quite selfish how peoiple can smoke and not care about what others think about it. I always laugh when I see smokers standing outside. Its their fault. I don't want smoke in my face when I'm eating dinner.

Why should we care first of all ? I mean, smoking is not forbidden in the streets. That's quite selfish.

Ewww, I totally agree with you. Fine, if they want to smoke then let them but I don't want to personally take in the manky smoke that comes from their cigarette. Some of them don't think about other people at all.

I used to hate pubs before the smoking ban, I used to come home smelling like an animal.

If you react this way, both are selfish then. Non-smokers got what they wanted, it's time to let some freedom to the smokers.

It's unpleasant though that we have to inhale cigarette smoke into our lungs, it isn't exactly healthy for us. Fine if you want to damage your body, but we don't!

If it happens regularly enough theres a risk of it actually. Passive smokers have lungs like mild smokers.

If you want to smoke then thats your choice but don't make people who don't like smoke feel uncomfortable or dirty.
