And people who liked Diana in the first few weeks. Let me ask a question, do you think Diana is performing at the level she was in the first few weeks?

And Simon Cowell, who mentioned that there were shaky moments in the performance.

She didn't hit the high note in the chorus. She failed every time she tried. And the backing singer were turned up in the mix so they drowned her out.

I thought it was OK at best. Then the judges went crazy for it and I sat there frowning shouting, 'Fix' at the TV.

I dont dislike Diana I just think people need to get real.

I don't need to get real about anything, I liked her performances on Saturday end of, obvs the judges did as well, just because they don't agree with you doesn't make it a fix.

They need to get real and realise they have a responsibility to be truthful and honest. Isnt that what they always say. They're not being honest with Diana.

Lets all hope it doesnt go to the girls head eh? All the prasies, the offer of a recording contract, all the attention on her etc. It would be enough to turn most young giirls heads.

Not totally - Simon Cowell said that there were shaky moments in the performance and he thought it was a poor song choice

They are being honest and truthful, they have liekd her from day 1, they see something in in her.

she is 17, it might go to her head a bit, but it would anyone, at any age.

Diana was bad, on saturday. Anyone who has ears, knew it. MOst of her fans that I know even admit that. Obviously some never will. There is no point in trying to convince them otherwise. They heard what they want to hear. Some blame it on the backing track. Well, only her and Eoghan had those issues, because their voices are the weakest. And even when you could hear her, it was all out of tune. Simon Cowell himself said it, stating that she was pitchy, and shaky, but thats what made it so good. Unbelievable, coming from him, he has completely lost perspective. Danni was dying to tell her she was bad, but you can clearly see her bite her tongue. Louis said, there are better girls than you in the competition, but you have a great recording voice. Thats polite for you suckk singing live. So no matter what, she will be praised, and in the end she is going to win! They are not doing her any favors unfortunately. Such a young singer with obvious raw talent, should be criticized, and called out on her short comings, so she can improve, rather than be praised and maintain her mediocrity. BUt its not gonna happen.

Absolutely. I could not have put it better.

All this praise is not good for her long term.

One thing I have noticed about the whole show is the amount of backing that has been used to support some of the acts. Sometimes it is hard to decide which bits some of 'em are actually singing! Incidentally, this is not specific to Diana......it's a topic that just cropped up.
