I first smoked when I was around twelve, when I started none of my friends smoked, I was the first, so I don't blame peer pressure, because there was none, I just blame myself for being weak. I don't smoke anymore I stopped when I was 14... I would never go near them anymore.. I don't mind if people smoke around me... I just don't like it.

I had never had a punishment in high school, only been late twice in the 3 years that I have been there and I have never had a detention.

i started smoking before any of my friends did, because i remember finding a pack of b&h gold in my wardrobe from when I'd stolen them from my dad like 2 years before to stop him smoking and my babysitter was asleep so i snuck into the garden and nearly choked to death lol
i took them into school and me and all my friends went into maths all dizzy

so i suppose i was the pressure-r... lol!

I don`t smoke but when I was 11 I had a 'draw' from one,then I never smoked again until I was 13 when I smoked like 1 or 2 becuase,idk its what you do,try things.Then my friends got hooked at around 14-15,I joined in for about a month then decided it was disgusting and pointless and stopped.Then other times Iv smoked have just been random nights where ive had one or two when Ive been drinking on nights out but I dont think Ive had one for like a year and a half or something and I probs never will again.

I just have a passionate hate for cigarettes. I'm asthmatic because my father smoked when I was a baby. He's asthmatic too but continued to smoke until very recently.

i was 15 so older than some my first was in a game of truth or dare i actually didnt like my first one it near on killed me with the coughing i then left it alone for a couple of weeks and then for some reason one day just brought a packet i was the first in my group of friends to start (the one in truth or dare someone stole off their mum for the game ) so wasnt peer pressure for me although i think i may have been responsible for a least one of the friends starting cos i did it and that was because he was only one who looked old enough to buy them so he often got them for me

I first had a smoke when I was about 14, my girlfriend at the time tried to teach me and I thought it was cool so I did it. Then I gave up then I kind of eased back into it as a social thing, it wasn't peer pressure as such but just something you catch on doing when everyone else is outside smoking, I don't smoke now gave up like 4 months ago (Only smoke a little anyway) but I still smoke when drunk. Not smoked in about 2 months though.
