I don't think they've thought this through. What if Jodie Whittaker loses an eye before 2021? I mean SURE they could explain it away as the Doctor's regenerative abilities, but then it's missing again in the very next episode? Doesn't even make sense. MASSIVE plot hole.

Yukk I haven't even watched 11 because I disliked them all so much in the first 3 episodes. I miss Doctor Who, I bloody loved the entire Tennant/Smith/Capaldi era, and frustratingly after all the worries about the gender change, I like Jodie Whittaker fine in the role... And yet the managed to wreck it with crap secondary characters and crap writing. Well done .

I doubt it. I reckon it's been filmed so far ahead either due to nicking this year's budget for next after cutting an episode or because 1 or more cast members are leaving so filming their last episode now means they can go off and not worry about remaining free next year to film one more special.
