What functions does it have that sites like Plug and Last FM lack? Are you sure this is different to Plug and Last FM? Or have you just slapped a new name onto a existing product?

Plug and Last.fm have always been popular with the forum so expanding them and bringing a format that carries on from those two will be well used on here. There are plenty of differences between to two, we gave scraped back parts on both of them to secure the forum doesn't lose activity but instead grows.

The ideas came from both like i described in the main post. Both have been altered to fit the forum. I fully believe this would become one of the most used and popular features to the forum.

Hello investors, I'm Mitchell and I'm working alongside Vanessa to pitch to you our idea of what should replace the now defunct MusicBox.

We all love catching up on the news on TiBB, we all love playing games on TiBB, so me and Vanessa wanted to come up with a simple idea that could mix them together.

That's why today we present to you, the TiBB Times!



The TiBB Times is a brand new enewspaper designed to provide the latest TiBB news as well as other things such as columns from our favourite posters, TV gossip and others.

I'm going to go through the items we have planned and tell you why they are there.

Please note that these are in no particular order and are not in the order they will appear in the paper.

TiBB News
First up is the latest TiBB news, this will be compiled by myself and Vanessa.
It will feature all the latest TiBB news such as games that are happening, popular threads that week and much more.
During the BB series we will also feature the popular 'TiBB Nominations' and will write a feature about the winners week on TiBB.


Y'all Need Jesus

For our Agony Aunt section, long gone are the days of writing letters to Deirdre, now you can write to Jesus!

Who better to have advice from than Jesus Christ himself (he may not be the real one, but he's still Jesus and not Madonnas boyfriend)

Whether you are having relationship troubles, family issues or whether you are experiencing difficulty settling into your new fish tank Jesus will answer all your calls for help in his exclusive Agony Aunt column called 'Y'all Need Jesus'

Sports
We plan to have a sports page as well and who better than Lucas to tell you all about the week sporting events?
We will be talking about all the latest football, tennis, rugby and all other major news about sport.
Not only that but Lucas will be providing his humorous take on sporting events!

Music
Every week we will have a 'Bizarre' styled column where Smithy discusses all the latest Music news in the industry.

There will also be 'Single Of The Week' and 'Album Of The Week' as well as the previous Sundays charts.

We believe Smithy is the best person to write for this as they are such a dedicated music fan and stays in the loop with it all, so is pretty much perfect for the job! (Plus Smithy is a Kelly Clarkson stan so you know )

TV Picks of the week

For the TV Picks we will feature the best programmes that are on offer from terrestrial TV, cable and satellite.
We will be providing a listing of the best Soaps, Films, Reality TV and all the other major TV shows that are on every week!

Our TV Picks will be picked by Vanessa who will write about them, Vanessa is a huge TV fan, so can share her knowledge with everyone on what to watch!

Showbiz
We will have our weekly Showbiz reporter, they will share all the Showbiz news.

This section will be aimed towards what '3am' currently is doing, just with their unique touch!

We believe the person we've asked is the best person for this job as she is always commenting on the latest fashion and celebrity news and we are sure her sense of humour will be well received with the TiBB community.

Horoscopes
Everyone loves reading horoscopes (well not everyone, but a lot of people do!) so we thought we'd get our own Mystic Meg to tell you your future for the week ahead!

Unfortunately Mystic Meg was otherwise occupied (Something about tying her shoelaces that week), but instead we've got the second best thing, TiBB's very own JackF!

He will be providing humorous and lighthearted horoscopes weekly for all you people who want to know how many chickens will cross you in the road that week!

Kazanne's Column

Kazanne will be writing her own exclusive blog for the week in the TiBB Times suitably entitled 'Kazanne!'

She will be talking about her week, what she has done and various other things.

This will be in the form of 4 points, like you would see in a newspaper column by people such as Katie Price (except lets face it, Kazanne is much more relevant and has much more dignity!)

I know Kazanne well and know she has an interesting life, so it makes her the perfect candidate for a blog/column like this!

LostAlex's Topical News
Every week LostAlex will be breaking down that weeks headlines and giving his opinion on them in his column.

The stories featured won't be too serious, but will be news such as Girl Guides adding a body awareness badge from this weeks news.

We think LostAlex is a brilliant addition to the paper and suits this column so well as he is always discussing these news stories in the TiBB forums.

A Week In The Life Of _____

Every week we will have a guest column by a guest writer, they will tell us what has happened in that week for them and give us an idea of what their life is like.

We believe featuring a guest every week will make the paper last longer with readers as it won't be the same faces every week.

TV News: In Association with Telly Planet
Part of our paper is TV news, I will be providing the TV news which will feature some soap spoilers and news on various TV shows.

We will also have rumour roundups for Strictly, I'm A Celebrity and obviously Celebrity Big Brother during rumour season.

Our TV coverage will be provided by my own website Telly Planet, therefore it will be the pages sponsor to make the paper easier to produce every week as the coverage will be syndicated from the site.

Cookery Corner
Every week it will be someone's turn to share their favourite recipes.

Whether its cooking salmon (please note, not Salman, we do not condone any eating any human beings) or baking cakes, we'd like to share your recipe with everyone!

This feature will start off with our very own Vanessa telling us her favourite Italian recipe

What we aim to achieve
We aim to provide an epaper which provides everyone with their latest TiBB fix, with funny columns such as the horoscopes and Agony Aunt parts as well as an insight into various members lives with Kazanne! and our guest column.

What It Will Look Like[/U]
The paper will be made on a programme that allows us to put all of the content into one online newspaper.

The front cover will feature whatever stories are big that week, along with the logo, the week and other important details.

Other Details
The paper will be released every Tuesday.

Every week articles will have to be submitted by Saturday evening, giving us time to make alternative plans if certain parts aren't completed.

I think that this is a unique idea that TiBB would get behind and love and I hope you will too.

We will be adding other sections hopefully as we go along, depending on feedback.

I have two questions.

1) Could you give me an example of what you would deem as "newsworthy" about TiBB from today? Not a full article obviously but what would the headline read?

and 2) If these investors were to commit to your idea, would you be willing to work with others on the main logo? I like the name of the paper but it could do with something like a symbol or a design as well as the text you've given.
