What is the big deal about being a kiss of death on a thread anyway ?

Some threads are set up to ask a question, and when that question is answered, the thread expires.

The one about who knighted Chruchill is a case in point.

There must be some threads in the archives where I am the last poster.

SO WHAT !!!!!

Meanwhile we have had a crew change, and the new guys have taken off for the evening in McDonnell Douglas CF-188 Hornets

I hear that there is a possibility of a transfer to a base with the rank of Air Marshall

Somehow I don't think so

No big deal at all.

However, this thread is different.

It's a giggle.

It's a laugh.

It's a harmless bit of fun.

It doesn't have a a question to answer, or a piece of vital information to impart. it is totally and utterly meaningless, pointless and directionless.

And I love it!

If you don't like it, Sticks - you don't have to join in. It's not compulsory. You can resign at any time.

Carry on, night shift.

That's nice, Sticks

I believe you can buy "spider ladders" for that purpose. I know I've seen them somewhere.

Morning Boris . . . . or is it afternoon now?

I'm almost too scared to visit this thread now, what with all the beasties and creepy crawlies that have appeared all over it recently!

Still, it's for Boris - so I must brave my fears and soldier on.

Carry on the good work, troops!

Don't look behind you Kaz ,
That spider looks quite big,
Do you know, if you need it.
It would make a 'wig'
