I think I'm just going to used my tired out trope and say that this is literally just a season of Survivor!

Put the mic down bro. Put the pen down bro. Use an eraser.

But really, I couldn't care less if there isn't full character development or even proper characterization for many characters if the ones getting an edit are good... and Domenick & Wendell are serving that role for me perfectly and some of the people I haven't liked served as decent enough villains. Stephanie & Jacob were great in the early pre-merge etc. etc.

The one knock on this season is there aren't a ton of BIG moments going on but as Douglas said there are still a few of those too.

I don't think there's any character development whatsoever? Like Domenick is without a doubt the person who has gotten the most screen time and the only thing I know about him is that he hates Chris. I don't even know what adjectives I would use to describe him. And then with Wendell he like... builds furniture? and has a girlfriend? That's literally all I got and we only have five episodes left.

it is watchable, but like everyone else has said a bit bland and their is no one to really root for.

I am preferring this season to the last 2 seasons that is for sure, but I can see why people might not like it. So many characters are under edited bar a few and its a bit predictable then who goes far and who is going to win. Its obvious either Dom or Wendell are winning this and I mean we are in the final 11.

Although I did enjoy Game Changers for the cast, but the actual season itself was pretty disappointing post-merge.

Also I'm shook @ San Juan Del Sur being almost 4 years ago already! Still feels like such a recent series (probably because all the recent seasons blend into one for me) and one of my all time faves!

I think HHH was way better, apart from the obvious thing at the end.

The HHH cast is waaay superior.

It had too many sob stories, maybe they have dried up now.

Edit was bad with the early episodes, too much on Chris v Domenick, when that never came to a head for several episodes.

Ghost Island 'no game for you today' is just stupid.

Now it's finally got to the merge I think we can finally get going with this season.
