hey troy, in this interview Spencer says Russell Hantz would have won with this jury. Starts around the 46 minute mark. He said it would have been tougher for him, but he still would have won.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgoKVZxOmyw Like I've always said it all depends with the type of people on the jury. Dan wins with last year's jury and Andy loses with BB14's jury.

I did love this series but it was kinda predictable with 5 or 6 shows to go that if they didn't get rid of Tony, he'd win.

the fact that you're trying to shove this in my face as "proof" is laughable (all this really proves is that Spencer is as daft as you are and that's been obvious for a long time.) You can't pick up Russell and place him into a different season and say "well these people would've voted for him so ha!" Survivor and life just don't work like that. You keep acting like how a jury perceives the final two all comes down to luck. The jury doesn't exist coming into the game, it's created over time as a result of other people's actions and they can react however they please. Russell losing is nobody's fault other than his own and the fact that Samoa aired in 2009 and you're still lamenting over his loss is really sad

Lol yeah Spencer's awful and that's becoming so real to me. Apparently everyone was already thinking of voting Tony, and he only gave his speech the way he did to:
1) try and outdo Trish 2) appease producers who didn't like his original jury questions And Kass said his jury speech was so self-righteous that she almost voted for Woo just to spite him like "who's this twenty something?" and that's actually hilarious.

Mhm, Spencer's awfulness really doesn't get stated enough around these parts. Like, he got way too much screen time despite being bland, toneless, charmless, and lacking any sort of charisma whatsoever. Nothing about him is interesting and he didn't do anything of note out there. He thinks he's smarter than everyone and preaches like he's some authority within the context of Survivor despite the fact that he was on the bottom the whole season because he failed to convince anyone of anything. He failed to convince Kass that she was anything other than third in their alliance with Garrett, he almost got voted off instead of J'Tia, and he only survived at the mercy of others. He called Kass a brain dead weasel after she gave him a significant lead in a puzzle and still beat him, which is a hilariously stupid assertion.
Also even though he's some self-professed super fan he was miserable out there? Like, his final words were pretty much that he's been dreaming of being on Survivor his whole life and he made it so far and it was pretty much an awful experience like

Ugh I so thought Kass and Tony would be in the finals and she would eviscerate him a la Sandra and Russel, what a devastating result </3. Jeff keeps saying how this season was great because everyone was playing such great games, but honestly it was good because everyone played really bad games. Really everyone was making massive mistakes constantly except for like... Trish?

I just started watching this. I've never really bothered watching Survivor for some reason, I decided I'll start with the new season starting in September, but figured I may as well watch a previous season beforehand, so went with the most recent.

It starts off great but kinda dies out halfway through and turns from great into average. Definitely one of the best recent seasons though.

It got sh*t for me when Trish went, drama was served right until her departure.
Sarah-Morgan was the worst blow tho

Is Survivor like a one-show-a-week show? Because even if it does get a little less eventful at some point I'll still find it easier to stick with then, rather than if there's multiple episodes per week.
