We have little spots here and there that are :30 differences in time.. not sure how they'll handle that If it's a local rule, it may not be changed by Congress, but who knows.

I'm for it, but admittedly, I hate this kind of change too because I like having rituals and it's a weird seasonal ritual we've become accustomed to... stubbornness, probably

It'll also be weird not having the sun go down as late as 9-10PM during the summer. We could play for really long hours in the evenings during our school breaks which in the US is late May/early June to late August/early Sep For places up north, it won't be as welcome as you say... I remember long bus rides to college in the pitch black after the change during Fall/Winter, and while I don't mind that it is dark, it was certainly cold...

It'll be better in the long run that we have a schedule that just sticks. Then maybe more people traveling at consistent times also across the year, means more people out and about during commutes, more safety... we've become so isolation-loving in the US. Something needs to change.
