Yeah the BB10 launch was awfully flat imo. It was the first time you could tell BB was beginning to get stale on C4.

It wasn't. After BB7 was where it dipped but BB10 was the first time it was entirely flat from the first second.

I can't comment on how the launches felt at the time, as I wasn't watching BB back then, but compared to all the other series, BB10 definitely felt a bit off. BB5/BB7 launches will never be topped

BB6 launch is great too but 5/7 are more iconic. 5's had a brilliant atmosphere, and the fact it was on quite late gave it a more edgy/gritty feel idk. 7 was good as it felt like such a freakshow

BB7 actually has normal people bar Shahbaz and Nikki imo.

BB5 might have the cast I find the most weird...Ahmed, Kitten, Emma were all completely unstable!

IA with BB5's launch having that dark and gritty atmosphere which I loved and thought fitted in well with the whole theme of Evil Big Brother.

You can't just base the launch off the housemates, the atmosphere of BB7 was electric in a similar way as BB14 was

The one thing I didn't like about BB5's launch was all of the males going in first then the girls. I'm glad they finally changed that for BB6

I loved how BB5's launch was on at like 10 and it was just a house tour and chucking in the twelve housemates and that's that. All in a one hour show.
