Dont know about the football there's been no talk about it.

This thread as of right now will be moved (from what ive read)

The reason its being kept is because from now on it will be under a social group banner. this means people join the group. Setting for this can be invite only which would stop the arguments when people come in uninvited. This might change but as of right now there is already a brotherhood social group on the new forum as a tester. there is a moderator for it (currently Mark because its only a tester).

BTW, the maintenance of a social group can be given to other members...

Like, I am currently running the Kanye fanclub, but if I was to go on holiday for a week or two I could make someone else the maintainer until I get back, so as to stop the place from going dead.

Also, you can add polls to threads after they have been posted.

So like, if you posted a thread called "Who is better, person a or person b?" and you forgot to add a poll to it the first time round, you can add the poll at a later date.

Iceman, wouldn't it be better to make the BH just moderated?

Invite-only means that the maintainer has to send an invite to people who want to join...

Moderated means that someone joins themselves, but they are not actually in the group until whoever is maintaining the group accepts their request... (I think, but that might not be right)

I think that the only way Mark will let it stay is if its onvite only...

wont take long to send the invites... that was the point he was trying to make (unless i picked it up wrong)

That way, they would find us, rather than us finding them.

And people could only join/post in the group if the maintainer says they can.
