Proven to be fake,

The US/Nigerian match finished with a 2-1 scoreline.

America performed brilliantly for the game, It's obivious that Bradley is the glue that keeps the USA going. Jozy Altidore finally ended his six month goalless streak, which is good. We need him to be confident. Only two problems that I noticed in that game were that we really messed up when Gonzalez came on. When he came on, he made a defensive woops because we went to a three man backline. This caused Besler to panic and foul a nigerian player in the US penalty box. Nigeria converted that PK into a goal.
The other problem was Dempsey had multiple chances to score but failed to convert. But the Nigerian Keeper was on his toes for the entire game when Dempsey had the ball.

I'm feeling a bit more confident about our chances of making it out of our group.

Yeah, Germany probably will win the group.

I still think if Germany beats Portugal and USA beats Ghana, CR will play because he knows that if he doesn't and the USA and Germany both win. Portugal is eliminated from the World Cup.

I think CR is going to play all the group games unless he gets a career threatening injury actually now that I thought about it.
