lets dance i had predicted the winner correctly three times in a row now, all 3 times my favourite

even the duffers over there (most of them) are not bad either

music choices are better too, traditional latin songs for party latins, traditional tango music few french songs which make romantic rumba's, Jives which are my cup of tea also too nice classic tunes

no, overall i enjoyed this series, easily up there as one of the best


but i am not gonna see it like one 'overrated' celeb won, just all finalists are winners

maybe it is a good thing that Bill won, to attract few more bigger name celebs

It was a great final no doubt.

Bill warranted his win.
For his efforts alone too.

No, he wasn't the greatest dancer, however he brought entertainment to the show too in a serious way.
Not in a way that was over the top as some other celebrities have tried to do to cover their errors or bad performing.

Maisie lifted her game too.
Then she hasn't been weak through the series really.

I think HRVY was the best dancer and performer, I wanted him to win, voted for him.
However it was between him and Bill for me.
So I congratulate Bill on a well deserved win.
Which it would have been too for both HRVY and Maisie too had they won.

No matter my reservations on the panel.
This series has been a breath of fresh air on Saturday evenings.
So glad it was able to be on amidst all the worries and gloom around a great many people at the present time across the UK.

my fave performances of last night were

Jamie's CC (i mean my bias bc of that song, very great technical quality of 90's streetdance)

Maisie's Showdance (emotional, christmassy what we need now more than ever that wonderful feeling)

HRVY's Jive (it was 110% better than in week 1), HRVY's showdance (i liked the remixed version of boogie wonderland, also mentioning his name was kinda nice to create that music festival feeling they aimed for)


Nicola & Katya's argentine tango moment, very nice too


eliminated celeb/pro group dance also lovely, Caroline/Johannes one of best partnerships strictly ever had, they genuinely had so much fun, nice seeing Jason's star wars moment again, JJ's foxtrot moment

can see Jamie getting more work because of having made the final (hosting gigs) a la Chris Ramsey, Alex Scott


for HRVY strictly has been good for even extra dance/performing experience he can always take that with him for future tours, concerts


Bill can use the dance experience now too for his own shows etc

congrats Bill & Oti anyway, 3 out of 4 from this final would've been deserved winners too, only Jamie wouldn't have deserved the win



i must also say i liked the opening dance, cleverly edited (from back in first lockdown) till now to announce the finalists with a little dance at the end of that opening routine
