I was part of a period of time/area where they gave the TB vaccine to babies, clearly as some sort of bloody experiment WHICH THEY STOPPED so not a good one ... clearly the side effect was making handsome geniuses... ...

Anyway,

I was one of the only kids at my school who didn't get it as a teenager as I'd already had it. Everyone was wel jel.

Are they still doing that? I would have thought it's slightly moot now that actual covid vaccines exist.

Wasn't the theory partly down to immigrant communities being worse affected, and being less likely to have had the BCG?

more hypocrisy ......

A group of politicians drank alcohol on Welsh Parliament premises days after a ban on serving it in pubs took effect.

Conservative Senedd leader Paul Davies, Darren Millar and Nick Ramsay were seen drinking together in early December.

Senedd authorities say they are investigating an "incident" which "may have been contrary to public health regulations".

BBC Wales has been told Labour Senedd member Alun Davies was involved. He and two of the Tories deny breaking rules.

It is understood he has been suspended from the Senedd's Labour group.

"A member has been suspended from the privileges of Senedd Labour Group membership while an investigation takes place into this alleged incident," a spokesman for the group said.

On one hand it’s reassuring to see the new infections falling BUT what happens when they release the masses from lockdown ... surely the virus will just go crazy again ??

They are likely to do something daft again now the media are asking when restrictions will be lifted ..

The media make me sick .... always trying to ‘make’ a story or a headline.

It’s only a few weeks ago they were pressuring the government to close schools .. now I’m hearing murmurs that they want to know when they schools will be reopened again ..

The government can never please everyone

Israel have data on 400,000 people ( 200,000 vaccinated and a separate 200,000 unvaccinated ) and they are certain that our decision to delay the second vaccine is very concerning.

So since Easter Sunday is 4th of April.
It's possible the lockdown could just be being lifted then

why are they that bothered? maybe concentrate on their own vaccination programme and maybe in producing a vaccine themselves?

I think it was always likely to be Easter, and even then it will be going back into Tiers rather than any full easing

yes I know that! but Zizu seems to be putting alot of credence to these scientists, I think it is more to do with 'winning the vaccination race' than anything else

Because until they tested 200,000 vaccinated people then compared their data to 200,000 unvaccinated people there wasn’t a huge scale ‘picture‘ of things .

It also apparently showed the massive decline in antibodies a few weeks after the first dose .. . quickly dropping to 32% effectiveness against the virus unless the second one is given as initially prescribed ( 21 days after the first )
Our people were assuming it would stay in the 90% area for 12 weeks !!

We may see an early response from the government on this very matter , I think
