No, not basically. He DID get off with it. He didn't get any punishment whatsoever.

not exactly, by being on the sex offenders register he will be monitored, and if he does something again he will go straight to jail. He wasn't given a more lenient sentence than any other similar case

I do think his position in the UK should have counted against him but I get that the establishment are rammed full of paedos with his profile/predilections so he was never going to be punished
|
