It always amuses me that so much hate is directed at boybands - mainly from young(ish) heterosexual males!

That is NOT the market they are aimed at!

What is truly boring is judging singing contestants on their looks!

When you listen to music you listen to the voice, couldn't give a crap about their body, abs or image or any other such irrelevant garbage.

I hate bands like One D and the current crop not because of who they are but because they could be anyone of that age. Its more a damnation of the vacuousness of teenage girls more than anything else
